Added additional citation for Eckler as band founder. Also added original timeframe of band to initial graf and removed link to Joel Madden as the Good Charlotte band member was born in 1979 per his bio..three years after the initial dissolution of Psalm 150 (band).GBrady (talk) 01:20, 29 February 2020 (UTC)

Factual/readability issues

I have corrected the reunion date to 2008 based on the date (7/6/2008) of the Sylvan Park, Redlands,CA show since there is no evidence from the Los Angeles Daily News article of them having reconstituted as a musical entity prior to that time. If someone has a source establishing the 2007 date, please edit my correction with a new citation supporting a 2007 reformation.

My bigger concern is that the Wiki article suggests that Eckler is the sole founder when I don't see that supported in either article.

The Daily News article implies Eckler as founder ("He [Eckler] gathered fellow musicians together to praise the Lord with the sound of the trumpet, the harp and lyre, and resounding cymbals.") and goes on to relate Felix is a long-time friend and "co-founder".

The other reference work (p. 733 of Mark Allan Powell's ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN MUSIC) mentions 6 members as part of the lineup that recorded MAKE UP YOUR MIND, specifically Bob Anglin (guitar), Greg Eckler (trumpet/percussion/vocals), Jimmy Ericson (percussion/vocals), Mike Escalante (keyboards/vocals), James (Daily News article spelled it "Jaymes", not sure which is correct) Felix (bass/guitar/vocals) and Allen Gregory (trumpet). It also states an "earlier (pre-recording) incarnation" included Jack Blades(bass), Bob Carlisle(guitar/vocals), Sam Scott (keyboards), Randy Thomas (guitar/vocals) and Ericson (drums). No mention of Eckler OR Felix which calls the Daily News claim of their "founding" the band into question.

I also don't understand where the "more than seventy" members number comes from. I suppose it could have come from the http://www.psalm150.net/ listed as contact in the Daily News article but that URL is dead now.

Additionally the chronology in the article is, in my opinion, confusing. It appears from the Wiki that Eckler was in Rubicon BEFORE Psalm 150 but information I see elsewhere for that band makes it look like they were founded circa 1978 AFTER the first breakup of Psalm 150 (band).

Also there is very little about the band itself before it moves on to what entities the various members went to AFTER 1976.

If no one has serious objections, I'd like to try and rewrite heavily. GBrady (talk) 02:30, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
