Untitled[edit]

"Pudasjärvi is by area the largest city in Finland and the third-largest in the world, only surpassed by London and Tokyo". Greater London is only 1579 km2 and Tokyo 2187 km2, so I remove this fact. From 1st January 2006 Rovaniemi will be the largest city in Finland. --Tbonefin 13:23, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kiruna became a Swedish city in 1948, and was at one time listed as the largest city in the world by area, but after the Swedish municipality reform in the 1970s, the term "city" has been discontinued. Kiruna is today the second largest municipality in the world by area, roughly 20 000 km² after Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia, 42 904 km².MoRsE 15:36, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Pudasjärvi[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Pudasjärvi's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 05:28, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
