Stopham Bridge[edit]

Stopham bridge is on the River Arun not the Rother. Unless anybody knows of a Saxon bridge on the Rother at Stopham I will change this. (Charles 19:31, 15 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

[edit]

I propose we change the project banner container to WikiProjectBannerShell which I think is a better version. SeeTalk:Buxted for an example. MortimerCat (talk) 06:11, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed--Charles (talk) 07:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

Guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements state that ideally the civil parish should be the catch-all article, avoiding single line articles on every village and landmark within the parish.

Therefore, I suggest that villages within the parish with a one or two sentence article, ie Codmore Hill, Marehill, North Heath & Nutbourne, Horsham to be merged and redirected to this parish article. ++ MortimerCat (talk) 06:07, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Old Census Data[edit]

Does anyone have a valid reason for ignoring the more recent census data? Failing to account for the huge amount of local development since the previous census allows County & District councils to divert necessary resources away from our local services. It is a huge amount of work to update every settlement to the new census, if the new figures are available, and nobody has got round to it yet. Perhaps you would like to help? I would hope that councils would get their data direct from the census rather than from here.--Charles (talk) 17:10, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
