a.k.a Share ramping?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55842994 and e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serious_Fraud_Office_(United_Kingdom)#Fraud suggests "share ramping" is a synonym, but was new to me. Any objections to inclusion? Chris Wood (talk) 16:21, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Image caption

Regarding this change to the image caption: There are sources that translate the caption as "night singer of shares" where "actie" is a Dutch word for "share," but further research indicates that this is incorrect, or at least misleading, and that "tireless night-wind hawker" is a more accurate translation. Compare this engraving from the same period which translates "actieuse" to French as "actieux" (actious, energetic). Critiques of the bubble schemes regularly referred to "selling the wind." 73.71.251.64 (talk) 20:31, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
