faulty path[edit]

The one link in the long list of genera that is not red, Camplylocera, leads to a flower of a completely different name and not to an insect.--23.119.204.117 (talk) 05:49, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pyrogotomyia taxonomy update[edit]

Just a note for if Pyrogotomyia is ever created - the genus has had numerous species redescribed in this 2012 article https://bioone.org/journals/African-Invertebrates/volume-53/issue-1/afin.053.0112/Revision-of-the-Genus-Pyrgotomyia-Hendel-Diptera-Pyrgotidae/10.5733/afin.053.0112.full and hence the Hendel 1934 taxonomy is no longer valid to base a wikipedia article on unless it's on the taxonomic history of the genus — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feralcateater000 (talk • contribs) 13:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
