QML and Javascript[edit]

The edit

18:57, 3 January 2016‎ 93.220.13.246 talk‎ 11,424 bytes +67‎ QML is not "JavaScript-based".

played down the fact that QML is in fact based on javascript. QML has a javascript engine underneath it and is accepting of normal javascript code. The edit from 93.220.13.246 reflects the official statements from The_Qt_Company but does not reflect the reality of how QML is implement. In my opinion the introduction should be changed back to refer to javascript. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.166.170.250 (talk) 16:47, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

XUL[edit]

  1. How does QML relate to Mozilla's XUL and XBL?
  2. What is the counterpart of the XULRunner?
  3. What is the counterpart of the Mozilla application framework?
  4. What is the GNOME/GTK+ counterpart? Do they use C JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets? ScotXW (talk) 13:22, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
