QML and Javascript[edit]

played down the fact that QML is in fact based on javascript. QML has a javascript engine underneath it and is accepting of normal javascript code. The edit from 93.220.13.246 reflects the official statements from The_Qt_Company but does not reflect the reality of how QML is implement. How does QML relate to Mozilla's XUL and XBL?
What is the counterpart of the XULRunner?
What is the counterpart of the Mozilla application framework?
