@HistoryofIran: Hello. Regarding this edit, I'm not aware of any rules about whether old or modern scripts should be preferred in translations, so I don't think including the modern script should create any problems. Including them both would be more beneficial to the reader (and would follow other examples such as Suleiman the Magnificent, where the modern Turkish script is provided). — Goldencall me maybe? 18:46, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
He didn't write in the Latin alphabet, especially not the modified Azeri one. Thus adding it is irrelevant, anachronistic and ahistorical. If the readers want to read his name in a modified Azeri alphabet, there is the Azeri wiki. --HistoryofIran (talk) 18:54, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
