Oppose. This article is about the dish, not the eggs which are its main ingredient, and as such is always in a plural form in English, to quote the relevant guideline which is WP:SINGULAR. Similarly scrambled eggs. Please, when appealing to guidelines, quote the specific guideline and link to it, rather than using vague references such as singular rule. Oppose as above; the dish is always plural (as the article should explain); consider the size of one quail egg. The "rule" in actual practice is Choose the singular form, when both are idiomatic (i.e. found in reliable sources). Septentrionalis PMAnderson 20:40, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
