Founded by Quakers?[edit]

The article currently suggests that this town may have been founded by Quakers. I'm guessing this is supposition based on the name only, so it does not belong in WP. A reference is needed to explain the unusual name. David Spector (talk) 23:48, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
