Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this is the subject of an independent film and book on the subject. These go a considerable way to signify notability. --Egghead06 (talk) 05:55, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why the name[edit]

The article doesn't say why they were called the "quality street" gang, and really it should. Is that where the Celtic training ground was? Or were some of the players from the area round Quality Street? Glasgow doesn't seem to have a Quality Street now - perhaps it was renamed (Stirling, for comparison, used to have a Quality Street which was later renamed), or perhaps the whole street was lost in the wholesale urban regeneration efforts of the 1960s. In any case, the article should explain the origins of the nickname. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 12:13, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
