Article now says Queen Anne.

Ring road[edit]

Lord Mayor in 1831?[edit]

The office of Lord Mayor of Bristol was not created until 1899 [1] so clearly there was no Lord Mayor at that time, error corrected. Jezhotwells (talk) 08:53, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The square or the Square?[edit]

Does "Square" really need to be capitalized every time we mention it, such as "The Square is often used for public events" an ting? I'm not about to commence fisticuffs over this but I just feel it looks a bit odd, and possibly may not be what the MOS says? Cheers DBaK (talk) 20:08, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to worry too much about this either and if you wish to change but I will not object, but my understanding is that if it is being used as shorthand for the full name (Queen Square) then it should be capitalised, but if describing a square shape it shouldn't be.— Rod ^talk 20:13, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
