It seems like this is currently regarded as either a subspecies of or identical to the echo parakeet. Even if it is a distinct subspecies, those are usually not kept as separate articles (unless a lot can be written about them, as is impossible in this case), so either way, the articles should probably be merged. The issue was discussed here[1] previously, but I forgot to make the point that even if the subspecies are distinct, they should be merged. FunkMonk (talk) 05:00, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
