R.E.D. (Ne-Yo album)R.E.D. – This is the only album titled R.E.D.. I know about The R.E.D. Album, but this is just titled R.E.D.. No other album is called R.E.D., so the page should be moved. Bob Mono (talk) 01:11, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - R.E.D. really should be redirected to Red (disambiguation). This article could be moved to just R.E.D. (album) though. Interplanet Janet (talk) 09:48, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - I agree with Interplanet Janet, R.E.D. should probably redirect to Red (disambiguation). I don't think R.E.D. is precise enough to identify the topic (per WP:NAMINGCRITERIA). If there is another album called The R.E.D. Album then moving to R.E.D. (album) could cause confusion, I think it should stay were it is. Sarahj2107 (talk) 11:53, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose R.E.D. is a Bruce Willis action film, and this is not even close to being as popular as that film. -- 70.49.127.65 (talk) 03:18, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I think The R.E.D. Album is too close. The Bruce Willis film seems to be RED (2010 film) (without the dots), but it is an initialism and so it should be disambiguated as well. There are also likely to be other such initialisms. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:37, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

R.E.D. (Ne-Yo album)R.E.D. (album) – My reason is the same as above, but I thought this title makes more sense. Bob Mono (talk) 01:38, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - The current title is overly precise. The proposed title is sufficiently precise to identify the topic but not too precise. Jojalozzo 01:54, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per BarrelProof from last time. There's The R.E.D. Album -- 76.65.128.252 (talk) 03:26, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose- Like it was said in the previous discussion, and like the ip. user above said, there is The R.E.D. Album so moving this page to R.E.D. (album) could be confusing. The R.E.D. Album is also the top result on Google is you search for red album, also Taylor Swift is releasing an album in October called red[1] and Weezer have an album called Weezer (2008 album) that is also known as "The Red Album". There are plenty of reasons for this page to be fully disambiguated. Sarahj2107 (talk) 11:35, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. R.E.D. (album) should redirect to the Red disambiguation page as incomplete disambiguation. There are too many albums with similar titles. olderwiser 12:48, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. In all practically Ne-Yo's album is called R.E.D., the Game's is called The R.E.D Album. Taylor Swift's is going to also be called Red. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 16:59, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neutral I'm questioning whether this album or any other album is more notable. "R.E.D" certainly does not need to redirect to "Red (disambiguation)" as the periods just disambiguate "R.E.D" from "Red". Hill Crest's WikiLaser (Boom.) (talk) 16:39, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in R.E.D. (Ne-Yo album)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of R.E.D. (Ne-Yo album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

R.E.D. (Ne-Yo album)R.E.D. – Since the last two move requests, the 2010 film has been changed from "RED" to "Red". Now, in terms of things which are just called "Red or "RED" (i.e. excluding The R.E.D. Album, which I highly doubt will cause any serious confusion), this is the only subject in block capitals (with or without full stops). Unreal7 (talk) 19:40, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per Wp:DIFFCAPS. -- Calidum 20:30, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose the nominator is grammatically incorrect. A proper abbreviation is not "RED", it is "R.E.D.", and if you want to be pedantic about it, "R. E. D." ; further, there's a popular comic book and film that's Retired Extremely Dangerous starring Bruce Willis frequently "R.E.D." ; that the Wikipedia article's title isn't that does not matter, since it appears that way in the real world as an alternate spelling. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:27, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Calidum. --Richhoncho (talk) 11:40, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
