Governor R. GREGG CHERRY[edit]

In your article on North Carolina Governor R. Gregg Cherry you stated that he supported President Harry Truman for re-election in 1948. Mr. Truman became the president upon the death of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on April 12, 1945. He was ELECTED president in 1948 and did not run for re-election in 1952.
