Subba Rao as the first president of Radical Students Union this is an error. The first president of Radical Students Union was N.V. Ramani while C.V.Subbarao was the Vice President of the organization.[reply]

It may also be pointed out that C.V Subba Rao passed away in 1994 [1]. He could not have been released from jail in January 1997. I believe that "March 28,1,97" was typo for March 28, 1977 in the reference (article in Manushi). Though I could not find a reference to his actual release, it is widely known fact that political prisoners were released in 1977.

I have corrected the date of release to 28 March 1977, which is consistent with everything else. I agree that March 28,1,97^ was a typo. Aymatth2 (talk) 13:12, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
