While I enjoy this character immensly, I am concerned that he does not meet WP:NOTE due to limited exposure, and involvement in only one storyline. I suggest adding him to the Minor characters of Days of Our Lives list. What do other editors think? Rm994 (talk) 18:18, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree as well, this stub is just asking for deletion by the next non-soap person that stumbles upon it.

By the way, in checking various Days character articles for copyright violations (there were quite a few), I came across more than a few stub articles even smaller than this one (and turned a few into tiny stubs by removing the bad text). I know the "Minor characters" list is kinda long, but these stubs should be consolidated as well, perhaps just by redirecting some to List of Days of our Lives characters. Or maybe a new multi-character article can be created for former characters or some other designation to split up the Minor chars article (maybe even split the Minor char article in half by alphabet, I dunno.) Check out Chris Kositchek and Shane Donovan ... these former characters don't need an entire article for an infobox and a few sentences. Also, articles like Daphne DiMera can be merged into DiMera family and that sort of thing. I've done the same for One Life to Live with characters like Meredith Lord Wolek and Cassie Callison.— TAnthony^Talk 23:39, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think Rafe should now be given his own page, as the last such discussion was close to two years ago. Rafe has become a much more notable character since then, and has stayed in front-burner storylines, like discovering the truth about Nicole switching Sami's Baby with Mia, revealing the truth about EJ faking Sydney's death, EJ's shooting and cover up, the death of Arianna, working with Calliope to help track down Anna, the death of baby Grace, and being imprisoned with Shane Donovan. He is also married to Sami Brady, arguably the show's leading lady.Gering was at the recent Television Academy 45th Anniversay event in the heroes panel, along with Drake Hogestyn, which I believe increases the character's notability enough for him to have his own page.
