Quality Scale[edit]

Does anyone know how one goes about improving the quality of a beer article? Any suggestions on how to improve this one? Dunkelweizen (talk) 23:43, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources on Distribution[edit]

I removed the fact that Rahr signed on O'Neil Distribution (Mineral Wells, TX) by June 2006. Rahr announced this in an email newsletter that month, but I do not have a copy and therefore cannot cite it. Can anyone else do this? Dunkelweizen (talk) 18:27, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability too Local[edit]

I question the Notability of the following strictly local award "The Dallas Observer awarded Rahr's Blonde Lager "Best Local Beer" in the summer of 2005", on the basis that this is a world knowledge site and this fact might deal specifically with too few people, as in a city. Dwarvenbierschneeman (talk) 00:22, 17 October (UTC)

There are a decent number of Dallas-area breweries, to my knowledge. DFW is a rather large metropolitan area. Disavian (talk) 12:23, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Nine Breweries, but it is still very local of a reference. I will not remove it, I just question the Notability. Remember this is an international encyclopedia essentially some things become less notable when you expand the scope against which it may be viewed. In addition the reference is unclear, was this a competition or was this merely an award given out by the news organization. Inclusion of that might clear things up.Dwarvenbierschneeman (talk) 13:08, 17 October (UTC)
