Birth year confusion[edit]

The infobox gives 1899 and the text of the article gives 1918; also the birth cat given is 1918; however there is no source for either date. I also looked for this author in the LC name authority file as well as VIAF but didn't find him. Is there a reliable source which gives his birthdate or at least gives a clue as to when he started publishing? For instance, I doubt he would have started publishing in 1925 if he was born in 1918. --FeanorStar7 (talk) 18:53, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Further information: the Malkakulu link says he was born in 1890; and the Silumina link says he would be 119 in 2018 (thus born c. 1899/1900; they also give the December 1899 birthdate).-- FeanorStar7 (talk) 19:02, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
