Copyediting[edit]

Hey all, new editor here to help copyedit. This article will be my first, so guidance and input are appreciated.

Update: I've worked through the first several paragraphs. A few questions related to points about the plot & characters: (1) Dorothy is Ramona's mother and Robert's only wife? (2) Ramona's legs dangle from the ceiling, not the roof?

Update: What does this parenthetical regarding Gomez & King mean: "(who played the title characters in the movie in two)"?

Relevance of Lautner/Gomez pairing[edit]

While I entirely understand how the Lautner/Gomez relationship could be seen as irrelevant to this article, I have to disagree, on the basis that I've had a Google News Alert set up for this film pretty much since the initial cast was announced, and virtually every news item I've been sent in the last several months has been about Lautner and Gomez dating, claiming not to be dating, breaking up, etc. The item that I inserted into this article was not about their relationship itself but about the news coverage of it, which I feel has been significant enough to warrant mentioning. And certainly, there's no reason to specifically exclude any mention of off-screen relationships from a film article, if it's relevant to understanding the film's media coverage as a topic. (For the record, I'm not a crazed Gomez or Lautner fan or anything; I'm just a Beverly Cleary fan.) Propaniac (talk) 13:36, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Age?[edit]

Ummm...if the role of Bezzus and Hengry and the rest of Bezzus' friends are teenagers that will mean Bezzus and her friends are protrayed as teenagers and in the book their kids-unamed user and Ramona and Beezus also are step sisters.

Wha?[edit]

ok, so what is the movie about?? thats a BAD article!!!!!!!!!!! *dream on*dance on* 05:57, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow, the writer of the plot summary must have been a drunk space alien who was desperately trying to understand human culture between sips from a giant jug of moonshine. The things that were written there did actually happen in the film but my goodness, they are so out of context and, for the most part, so completely irrelevant to the story that it makes for one really comical read. Sweet merciful crap, that was one of the weirdest things I've read in a while. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baztastik (talkcontribs) 20:03, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This Has Too Many Questions![edit]

When I first heard about this movie I couldn't wait, but now that I've heard more about it, it seems really bad. I mean the movie is five months away from it's release date and it still doesn't even have a trailer! I've also read the whole Ramona series, and thought the books were great, but I think Selena Gomez, was a horrible choice for playing Bezzus, I love Selena Gomez and think she's really cool, but in the book series, Bezzus is only about twelve when Ramona was seven! Selena Gomez is like at least seventeen, and she usually plays more fun, out going characters. From reading the books, I've always thought Bezzus was more of a shy, quiet gal. Well I sure hope that the movie is better than I think it is, and I think if it was in the media more, and there were some commercials, the movie would do really well in the theaters, I mean I sure know a lot of Selena Gomez fans would go see it, and everyone who has read the series would see it for sure, but of course, the movie is really unorganized. I bet most people don't even know about it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.95.155.22 (talk) 22:18, 15 March 2010 (UTC) autam winds —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.8.253.225 (talk) 10:06, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
