Ran Raz has been one of leading theorists nowadays. He published lots of papers in Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science, Journal of Computational Complexity, and STOC, the top-rated , journals in computer science theory. Some of his recent publications, Two Query PCP with Sub-Constant Error, A Counterexample to Strong Parallel Repetition.
