Did you know... that Rancho Los Encinos near Los Angeles was founded in 1797, and raised cattle, sheep and wheat, and was a stagecoach stop, before becoming a real estate subdivision with Los Encinos State Historic Park at its heart?

Merge[edit]

I believe this article and Los Encinos State Historic Park should be merged, as there is a great deal of duplication between the two articles. I don't have a strong opinion as to which title should be primary; it appears they were created independently. Thoughts? - PKM (talk) 21:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree reluctantly. The idea is appealing but (a) there is more to be said about the rancho than about the park, and (b) the park as an entity in itself needs its own entry in List of California state parks. 67.130.129.135 (talk) 01:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
