Notes[edit]

According to http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/monstersBtoC.html#centaur, the Centaur also has Ranger as their favored class.

Wisdom should be given some mention, so I added a general class build description.

It's worth mentioning that while the Ranger class of yore didn't specifically allow dual-wielding, the Drow Elf race entry in sourcebooks mentioned their ability to fight with two weapons at once. "Drow are also highly intelligent and co-ordinated, being able to use either or both hands/arms for attack and defence." -1e Fiend Folio, p. 34 "Dark elves do not gain the combat bonuses of the surface elves with regard to sword and bow, but may fight with two weapons without penalty, provided each weapon may be easily wielded in one hand." -1e Unearthed Arcana, p. 10 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.242.235.219 (talk) 19:41, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dragonlance[edit]

Riverwind isn't a ranger, he's a barbarian. Tanis is the ranger. So please stop changing it back. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kniobo (talk • contribs) 02:58, August 21, 2007 (UTC).

Riverwind was a ranger in 1/2E writeups, while Tanis was a fighter, perhaps "Riverwind in the earlier editions, as of 3.5's Dragonlance Tanis is a ranger" To keep facts straight? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.173.89.146 (talk) 07:31, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1st Edition Ranger/Druid Multiclass?[edit]

I've just looked through both the druid and ranger entries in the 1st edition Unearthed Arcana and am unable to find anything about this. "The release of Unearthed Arcana allowed ranger/magic-users, ranger/thieves and even the ranger/druid."
