Live albums[edit]

@AlterBerg: I'm surprised to see you removing some well-known live albums from this list under the rationale that the performances were also included in films. As with Shankar's Monterey Pop live album (which is still included in the list), the Woodstock and Concert for Bangladesh albums were major releases. Shankar's performances did appear in the documentary films from the respective events, sure, but they're all albums that charted, and in the case of the Bangladesh triple LP, Shankar was co-recipient of the 1973 Grammy Award for Best Album. So their omission from a list of live albums in the artist's discography seems kinda glaring. What I mean is, I think "Film music" should contain only Shankar's film scores and soundtracks, separate from live albums accompanying concert documentaries. Ah ? I only saw them as just double entries. Well, reverse it as you wish. Regards, AlterBerg (talk) 12:34, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
