The result of the move request was: Move. We have clear consensus that this is necessary; the present titles will redirect to disambiguation. However, someone knowledgeable is going to have to take care of any redirects that aren't immediately clear from context. Cúchullain t/c 16:51, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Here's an interesting one, as we have four Ray or Raymond Williams who all played rugby. Two New Zealanders and two Welsh players. No big deal with the New Zealanders, as one played league and the other union. The Welsh players are the more tricky ones, as they both played union, they were both born in the same year, and would you believe it, they both died in the same year! One of them was notable, though, as a trainer. The rugby league player is currently at 'Raymond', but he was better known as 'Ray'. So, where this leaves us is that we need country disambiguation for the three union players, and I suggest that we disambiguate the two Welsh players as 'Welsh rugby union player' and 'Welsh rugby union coach'. If anybody has different ideas, I'd be keen to hear about it. In addition, I've set up a disambiguation page at Ray Williams (rugby) and if there are opinions for a better dab for that page, please include that in your discussion. Support: Welsh rugby union player' and 'Welsh rugby union coach' is simple enough. However, the recent hatnote edit here reduces clarity rather than improves it. I say restore the wording to something like the previous version which makes it clear there are two Welsh rugby men known as Ray Williams with the same 1927–2014 lifespan. -- Ham105 (talk) 10:48, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
