Ray WongRay Wong Toi-yeung – There are other guys named Raymond Wong, long form of "Ray Wong". This person doesn't rise to the prominent level of other men of the same name, including politicians and arts personalities. For the natural name, IB Times, Pakistan Defence, and SCMP. If natural disambiguation is not possible, how about Ray Wong (activist) instead? George Ho (talk) 21:57, 1 May 2016 (UTC) --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 05:03, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this is necessary. I don't think Wong Toi-yeung uses "Raymond" and I don't think any other person listed on Raymond Wong (disambiguation) uses "Ray". So the current primary topic allocation is appropriate and the hatnote is sufficient to address any need of disambiguation. Deryck C. 12:14, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Raymond K. Wong goes by "Ray Wong" on his blogs [1]. I agree that the other people called Raymond Wong probably don't ever use "Ray", though. 210.6.254.106 (talk) 06:51, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. To argue that Hong Kong names need to be written in a Hong Kong specific format is the equivalent of arguing that Japanese names need to be written in Japanese. Even in Hong Kong, the proposed format is far from universal. See The Asian Age and Wall Street Journal (the first articles that came up for me on Google News). H. Which form of Japanese, H. Humbert: romanji, kanji, kana, or hiragana? Equating Hong Kong naming to Japanese naming seems vague without knowing what you meant. Also, one of the sources that you showed me interchangeably uses "Ray Wang" and "Ray Wong". The other source shows partial content; the full content is restricted to subscribers. Possibly, the full name must have been used in full content. George Ho (talk) 16:30, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
