Icons[edit]

The flag and other icons are overkill, in my opinion. (I think there's a guideline on them somewhere.) The article would be better off without them. czar 02:20, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest renaming[edit]

I suggest to rename this page to Investigations of Panama Papers if anyone is going to split the content, because the actual content from the corresponding sections in Panama papers is about claims and investigations, not about international reactions. These pages usually start out as "International reactions to X", or in this case, be governmental in scope (and connected to investigations), but the scope of this article really extends to all of the fallout from the Panama Papers so that the corresponding section in the original article can be better summarized. czar 11:11, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I am just looking how paragraphs begin: "On April 7, 2016, federal prosecutor Federico Delgado began a formal investigation into [president] Macri's involvement" "Many senior EU figures have been implicated in the Panama Papers scandal", "The Süddeutsche Zeitung, which made the papers public, has described the connections of various individuals listed in the papers to Russian President Vladimir Putin." and so on. This is not about international reactions, but about international investigations, scandals, international corruption, etc. Quite possibly the content could be split, but one should rename this page and I am not sure how exactly. article format[edit]

first, why is there hidden m/d/y and American English tags in the article? I don't see any reason for them, especially considering that the leaks did not occur in the US and the brunt of the backlash was arguably in Europe.

second, could this article be segmented into continents, rather than having a very long list of individual countries in alphabetical order?

third, I propose most or all of the content from Panama Papers#Allegations, reactions, and investigations being moved here, as the article has a length problem and this article seems to have mostly the same content. I have also brought this up on the Talk:Panama Papers page. Ashela (talk) 19:47, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
