Famous Episodes[edit]

Come on now, this has to be made up, Brian Turner sprayed his cream all over Fern Britton's face? LOL!

Famous Episodes Shane Richie turned up to the show, apparently drunk, completely ignored Nick Nairn's ideas, and proceeded to make a large sandwich. JK and Joel's attempts to "ruin" the show by splashing host Ainsley Harriott with whisked eggs, and causing a large stain on his shirt. In an early edition of the show, chef Brian Turner was attempting to pipe whipped cream, when his bag burst, spraying his cream all over presenter Fern Britton's face. Again chef Brian Turner was the victim of a famous episode, when a contestant emptied his bag on the work top, to reveal, to Turner's consternation, only a lobster and a shallot.

Bistro and Gourmet bag[edit]

I'd love to add the bistro and gourmet bag information to the "Basic Format" section. £7.50 is allowed for the Bistro bag, while the Gourmet bag has a value of up to £10.00. Unfortunately I'm relying on memory for this - maybe a letter to the BBC can confirm it? I'd also like to just rewrite a few paragraphs - the current writing is very wooden and some sentences don't read well. Can I do this without offending the original contributor? Discussion on the image[edit]

I have uploaded an image from Flickr onto Wikimedia Commons. I am wondering if anyone can identify the two chefs in the image, I believe they are Silvena Rowe and Ben O'Donoghue. Any thoughts?
