Fair use rationale for Image:Real Avilés Industrial.gif[edit]

Image:Real Avilés Industrial.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

@Xabel10:, @Asturkian: Please start to provide WP:RS for which logo is the most representative here, or else it would go to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard or Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring instead. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football is the central hub for football, but not specific enough for this article.

So, for, i saw

But two of them are primary sources (extension of club website).

Also, according to WP:NFC, page may have two logos, if one of them, the historical logo, have critical commentary that supported by external citation, which this link may be qualified as one of this citation http://realaviles.es/club/simbolos/ , but ideally may need at least one more secondary source. The Real Federación de Fútbol del Principado de Asturias: (https://www.asturfutbol.es/competiciones/)
Campaign of members 2018-19: [1]
Both the club and the Federation make the traditional logo official. The banner of the website is a photo of the press room without updating for years. Match posters and member cards bring the traditional shield.

Examples of using other logos without being official we have many examples:

@Xabel10:. The Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona logos just look likes black and white version of the logos, but the layouts are the same, unlike Real Avilés that the two logos have some different. But i agreed that clubs can have many logo, but by WP:NFC, normally one logo is allowed in the article and it should put the most notable / recognisable logo in the infobox. And if historical logo that had critical commentary with citation, it can have the logo on the article. But certainly the logos in Bundesliga is somehow NFC violation. Matthew hk (talk) 12:57, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well i take the liberty to swap the logo in the article. As this post indicated that the club used the new one. Matthew hk (talk) 11:10, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Matthew hk:. The amount of errors that the article now contains is enormous. Congratulations... --Xabel10 (talk) 13:51, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, wikipedia is based on reliable source. Both of you need to provide that. Also, Xabel10, please don't upload WP:NFC to wiki-commons. Free media had its own tag PD for those without copyrights. The club logo is copyrighted, you draw the same logo is not qualify for "own work". Matthew hk (talk) 13:57, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Real Avilés CFReal Avilés Industrial – Per the club's official Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts. In the own article, there's a ref about the name chance which occurred back in 2020. BRDude70 (talk) 06:28, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
