Transfers[edit]

I have removed the list of recent transfers, as Wikipedia is not a news service. Maurimarzal 16:00, 9 September 2006 (GMT)

Hockey[edit]

Can we set up a disambiguation page between the football and hockey clubs

I think Real Sociedad B (Real Sociedad Sanse) should have their page. Matthew_hk tc 11:44, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stadium[edit]

the stadium (Anoeta) is much bigger than reported here (at least 20,000) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.120.108.77 (talk) 07:51, 12 July 2009 (UTC) should be this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadio_Anoeta —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.120.108.77 (talk) 07:55, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This incorrectly says that Real Sociedad has won the second division and gained promotion to la primera. This is not yet true. They are in first place but need one of two teams (who are both favored) to lose on Sunday 6/6 to guarantee promotion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.76.32.102 (talk) 00:50, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

League[edit]

Why do people keep putting them in La Liga? They still have one more game in la Segunda. They currently play in La segunda (until June 20, 2010 their last game in la Segunda). They have guaranteed promontion, but that does not mean they are currently playing in La Primera. I'm not changing it anymore, but am tired of people makine premature changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.76.32.102 (talk) 01:58, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable players[edit]

The list as it is now is quite bizarre. I'm guessing the main selection criteria is having been an international, which leads to an overload of players from the post-Bosman era. Some of those players spent 3 months on loan at Real Sociedad and contributed little or nothing. What I propose: Players with more than X selections for the team or Y goals scored and players associated with remarkable achievements or eras. --Txuriurdin (talk) 12:10, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
