The article for the Thief River indicates there are falls at confluence of Thief River with the Red Lake River, but nothing in this article mentions those falls- are they still extant? In reviewing Google's satellite image of the area, I find a structure which could be a dam (or perhaps spillway) located further downstream (below/south of the County Hwy 17 bridge). If this is a dam, perhaps it has covered the falls? Regardless of what the structure is, its mention in the article would be a good improvement, as well as adding more information about the "falls". For example, beyond an accurate pinpointing of their location, the height of the falls would be useful to record. Dan Aquinas (talk) 19:11, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
