Neighbouring stations table[edit]

Please leave this table as is and do not use the template. The existing Neighbouring stations table does not fit the data that should be put in there with the added stuff on peak hour lines, etc. The one here can be adapted to other stations without the hassle of the template. Let it be and do not change it. (JROBBO 12:21, 4 March 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Short Platform[edit]

"Interestingly, this is the only short platform in the CityRail area wherethe front of the train stops at the platform (normally it is the back.)" It's not the only one i'm sure. Others include Helensburgh, Sutherland, Hurstville, Cowan etc . MrTwig 12:30, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems you are right. Harryboyles has deleted it now anyway. (JROBBO 13:50, 7 May 2006 (UTC))[reply]

2004 Redfern riots[edit]

Should there be a link to the 2004 Redfern riots article at the bottom as part of the station's history? --Alexxx1 (talk/contribs) 06:44, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is one... in the history section - someone removed it. I have added it back. (JROBBO 05:12, 7 July 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Airport trains[edit]

It should be noted that Airport line trains don't pass through Redfern, but Green Square - the labelling at the side makes this misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.61.134.116 (talkcontribs) 12:53, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed while most Airport trains go through Green Square, some express trains go through Redfern. In the neighbouring stations table it says this. Harryboyles 14:56, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

only Airport trains go through Green Square. Redfern does not have a direct connection to the Airport line.

I was referring to the trains that go through Sydenham, not necessarily Airport trains. Harryboyles 10:19, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should write "East Hills Line" rather than "Airport & East Hills Line". In [1], it is written that
  • Airport Line: There are no trains operating. See bus stop and route information.
  • East Hills Line: Services will operate to an amended timetable and start and terminate at Redfern.
Clearly, Cityrail considers the section to Redfern as East Hills Line and not as Airport Line. 202.40.137.199 10:27, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Until 2010, when the "Campbelltown Express" line comes into play, it will be the "Airport and East Hills Line". That is the name given by CityRail, and it is going to stay. JROBBO 12:00, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are you kidding 202.40.137.199. That link you provided is to a page on trackwork! Of course it's likely there will be no trains running if they are working on the rails those trains run over. I think I've made my point. Harryboyles 13:18, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
