This article is muddled. The building it describes is the Fort de Goede Hoop. Duijnhoop was a smaller fortification, that was built at the mouth of the Salt River, in January/February 1654. Arthur R (talk) 18:52, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redout DuijnhoopRedoubt Duijnhoop — The word "redout" is incorrectly spelled in several of the Capetown Castle related items. The correct spelling is "redoubt".
