Climate section June[edit]

The June record of 102 should be changed. You probably won't believe this, but current NWS forecasts say it is 130 degrees in Republic right now- I'll change it and you can replace it if necessary. ManhattanSandyFurystorm (talk) 15:03, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Order of Incorporation[edit]

According to the MRSC website http://www.mrsc.org/library/inctable.aspx Republic was not the 6th city incorporated in Eastern Washington. Cities incorporated prior to 1900 include Asotin 1890, Colfax 1881, Davenport 1881, Ellensburg 1883, Kettle Falls 1891, Palouse 1890, and Spokane 1881, among others. Potential source that may be of help[edit]

Hey everyone!

Article looks great and came across this PBS article from 2018 about reviving the gold industry in Republic.^[1]. I was going to simply list it as a {refideas} tag at the top but thought I should explain it out.

How did I come across this? No idea. But I do know that although I've visited the gorgeous city years ago, I'm not from there and an editor more familiar with either Republic or gold mining would be better suited to use this source and expand the article if this source is deemed helpful. By the way, well-done article and shout-outs to all those editors who've helped.
