Resistive pulse sensing is the generic term that is favored over "Coulter counting" or the "Coulter principle". The latter is a trademark of the Beckman family of companies. Probably it would be better to merge the Coulter page into this page, but that's too big a job for me!

Some links have now been made from other pages to this page. Don't know what the bar is to consider that "sufficient."
