The German Wiki Entry Is Quite Execellent, perhaps one should use that as an inspiration.

This could still use some contributions, perhaps we should style the page in the way the Paris Page is made. If you add information, please keep a good structure, if you feel you have a larger subject to address, perhaps make a new subcategory.. (Danish version of above) Hvis du tilføjer noget, så hold lidt orden. Har du et helt nyt emne, så kan det måske betale sig at lave en ny underkategori.

What Wikipedia is not: A travel portal[edit]

The page is close to violating wikipedia policy, by being more of a tourist guide at present point: Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not -- submitted unsigned by User:Tanber Revision as of 20:06, February 11, 2006

I have cleaned up a bit so it is a bit less like a "travel portal", but there is much more to be done. Some of this article is probably more suited for WikiTravel (see their article on Ribe), especially the Accomodations section, which in my opinion definately does not belong here. Unless there is good argument for leaving it in place, I will probably move it off this page, and maybe onto WikiTravel (but that is not for me a high priority). --SFDan 15:12, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have now removed the Accomodations section from the article as inappropriate as there was no argumentation for keeping it. If someone wants to move it into TravelWiki or other, one can always get the information through a History look-up. --SFDan 09:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people[edit]

Recently I have extended the list of notable people from Ribe, using an updated version of [Category:People from Ribe]. I have left the entries in alphabetical order, as requested by an earlier contributor in a line hidden from view at the top of the list. However, I feel there would be merit in using four or five sub groups like arts & science / business / public thinking / sport and then listing people in date order in those groups - see for example Haderslev and Bornholm.

Any thoughts?

In the absence of objection, I plan to re-order the list shortly in date order and delete the request for listing in alpha order
