Relevancy[edit]

Is the last part of the sentence "Most of his recent designs have been published by GMT Games, a game company owned by [REDACTED], Gene Billingsley, who has [REDACTED]" relevant to the article? A notation about the [REDACTED] could be added to the GMT Games article (as it is now), and to that article only, not every article on Wikipedia where GMT Games is mentioned. --claes 20:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not relevant, it's doesn't follow a NPOV, and its not cited. I'm removing it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.41.3.18 (talk) 20:03, August 20, 2007 (UTC)
That makes sense to me, though I note that once again all such information has been removed by unnamed parties from the Wiki entry about GMT Games also. Big surprise. :) —smn —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephen newberg (talkcontribs) 14:33, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
Stephen Newberg runs Simulations Canada, a direct competitor to GMT. Looks like this might be personal. — pronoblem 16:11, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

There appears to be confusion over Berg's date of birth. One source, wargamer.com gives the year as "1941". However, multiple sources give it as "1943", including boardgamegeek.com, which contains a biography written in the first person. I suspect 1943 is the correct number. I have tentatively changed the year from 1941 to 1943 in the lede, unless beter information appears. — Quicksilver (Hydrargyrum)T @ 16:02, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
