Reversion of copyright violation[edit]

I have reverted the recent version of this article as it was a blatant copyvio from http://www.portlandopera.org/performer/richard-troxell-duke. In addition, the new version had removed the referencing from the previous version as well as the formatting.

If you wish to re-expand the article:

1. Do so in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

2. Please note that even when text is used with permission, its style and tone may be unsuitable for an encyclopedia article and require heavy editing. In this case it was highly inappropriate and promotional in tone.

3. Please read Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia carefully and ensure that the newer version follows all guidelines for formatting, linking, and style.

4. Please add additional references from verifiable and reliable sources which are independent of the subject, not publicity blurbs, and do not remove existing references.

5. As models, I suggest looking at Rockwell Blake, William Lewis (tenor) and Gregory Reinhart. WikiProject Opera also has guide to layout and formatting for opera singer articles.
