UK ringing tone

By using a computer with Sound Forge, i have determined that the two tones mixed for the UK ringing tone are 550 Hz and 500 Hz. I've added this to the article, and I know it is correct, but I cannot find another source. Can anybody find a source for this which is not original research?Labrat256 03:46, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm afraid you're out on the frequencies. The ringback tone employed by BT (and most other PSTN operators) on all modern digital systems in the U.K. is comprised of 400 + 450Hz. BT SIN No. 350 gives a reference:
