Stour Valley[edit]

I'm not that bothered whether Stour Valley redirects here or to River Stour, I just know that we don't need a separate article for it. Technically, most of this article is about the valley and not the river itself. 82.20.52.30 (talk) 03:15, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation[edit]

Pronunciation of Stour in South Suffolk is split between stu-er and stow-er (to rhyme with flower). Not sure where to find a source for this, or how to represent this in IPA. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 14:02, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I can do it. So it rhymes with sewer or sour? If you distinguish flower (2 syllables) from flour (one syllable), which one rhymes with Stour? — kwami (talk) 23:16, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
