This is a WIP only because it's late & I wanted to get it started. I've known RJG & The Enid for years but will endeavour to provide verifiable references for anything I say! Remove page[edit]

I am sure that no-one has ever heard of this person. Surely wikipedia should only be used to provide biographies for persons that at least have a measure of public recognition. The above is mean-spirited at best. Godfrey was influential in the early works of Barclay James Harvest, and while his current band may not enjoy major commercial acclaim they do have a strong cult following and are one of the world's longest-surviving rock bands. I will not pursue the deletion of this page, but I don't think that this person, even though he might meet the General Notability Criteria, should have an article here. I am honestly interested in what you haveto say, so please say what you have to say regarding the notability of this person and the comments made by other editors here. To claim that no one has ever heard of RJG, is at best stupid, at worse malicious. At the helm of the Enid he has released 20 + albums, and played all the major venues all over the UK and abroad. He is still working, and has several new compositions for release. He has been reported on, and interviewed by, all the mainstream UK music press at various times.
