Edits by Department of Parliamentary Services[edit]

This page has been edited by computers within the Department of Parliamentary Services (202.14.81.49) and should be monitored for hagiographic material from this sourceSpamburgler (talk) 08:17, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Always good to be vigilant but you should keep an eye on all edits made to members and senators pages not just the ones from this IP address. FYI The Parliamentary Library sent out an email last week to the offices of all members and senators to help them "ensure that the information available on Wikipedia about them is accurate". This explains why there has been a spate of edits on various members. As the culprit in this instance, I decided to just correct biographical errors and not buy into the more controversial parts of this article (death penalty and gay marriage) but there is every possibility that someone else may wish to change these or similar controversial sections in other member's articles. And they may well do it as registered users rather than just casual visitors. 202.14.81.49 (talk) 02:30, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good Afternoon Readers, during my research of the Aust. industrial Landscape from 2006 onwards,I have uncovered quite a bit of information that is not on this page but should be from the public's perspective. When Mr. McClelland was appointed Attorney General in 2007 he had quite an extensive history of being involved in the law and Labor union interests and Workplace relations so he appeared to be the ideal candidate for the position. However my research has shown that he oversaw the legal aspects and risks of the new 'Forward with Fairness'legislation that was introduced into Parliament in early 2008.What was most interesting about these few months is that he allowed the P.M. & workplace Relations Minister to table the Forward with fairness legislation knowing it was unlawful?.It was unlawful because -put simply-it stated that All Aust. workers would be covered by it and the new Modern Awards from the 1/1/2010.This was totally untrue 1] the public service employees would Not be covered by it.2] Western Australia had declined to be involved.3] the non-incorporated business sector although included was not covered by the federal Corporations Act.To impose the new system on this sector without changes would be illegal. Those changes had not been applied for so Att. gen. McCelland knew that the legislation was unlawful from the day it was passed in the federal Houses. He also oversaw the Workplace relations Minister's Industrial Legislative Instrument that was tabled in the week ending the 28/3/2008 that ordered the independent A.I.R.C. to draw up the new system following the Minister's directives. That Instrument was unlawful-why-well a minister cannot order or direct an indepent body via such directives, the Minister can only request that the A.I.R.C. draw up the new Awards within the parameters set out in the legislative guidelines. This Unlawful Instrument Mysteriously vanished from the parliamentary Library and the National Archives in late 2011 when the secret and truth became apparent to the P.M.&.C. dept.-that in itself was a criminal federal offence. It was replaced with a 'doctored'instrument in early 2012.The G.F.C. had taken a toll by 2010 on the private business community but the labor Govt. still carried on with its I.R.plans.When Fairwork replaced the A.I.R.C. in 2009 and was rushing to finish the modernising of the Awards Systems, the federal Govt.& fairwork & the Att. general drew up the Participating States operating System via a signed contract[Qld.,S.A.,N.S.W. & Tas.],this contract enabled the States Employed Industrial Inspectors to police the new federal System on Canberra's behalf. When I first obtained this Contract and read it -it was an eye-opener! The States,in order to be paid quarterly had to achieve a list of Quotas that included successful outcome actions against businesses from Day one.Although the new system was not supposed to be retrospective, inspectors made it so to achieve successful outcome to fulfil the Quotas. That in itself was unlawful if not illegal.Att. Gen. McClelland signed off on this States Contract and I wonder why as most people within the fairwork System must have known things were not right from day one.Cases were brought against businesses for not operating correctly from the 1/1/2010 and before but for most of them their new Awards were not finalised until March to June 2010-how could they know what it was?.On the 1/1/2011 fairwork under the guidance of the Workplace relations Minister and Att. gen, Illegally imposed the Federal Modern Awards on the non-incorporated sector. The damage was inflicted and businesses and jobs lost then in mid 2011 the P.M.& C became aware that the 'çat was out the bag',a great storm of activity ensued to erase or alter the documentation that was damaging to the Government.December 2011 the activity was very high and widespread and some people were voicing their concern over the fallout and resigned-Mr. McClelland was one of those people.I have tried to contact him to discuss my evidence in an interview but to date no invite has been forthcoming.I invite anyone who has knowledge of these actions to discuss them here in the public space that is Wikipedia where truth can come to light,sincerelyRockstone87 (talk) 05:45, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

We're aware of the email, which I think failed to mention conflict of interest? Registered and casual users are welcome to make changes as long as they meet the Verifiability and Neutral point of view policies. Somno (talk) 02:40, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WP:COI states that whilst not mandatory, people with it should not edit such pages. As experienced with this issue, it is best to bring issues to the talk page, or wikimedia. Timeshift (talk) 03:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
