Urban Legend

@Ianmacm: Hi Ian, I entirely understand why you reverted the edit and your reasoning. I was just wondering if there was a way of better illustrating that the urban legend is indeed false - the way it reads to me now is that while the person responsible for selling it on the City of London's part denies it, there is a chance it might be true. Perhaps worth adding a sentence on everyone involved denying it strenuously and there being clear evidence it wasn't true? The wording could be a bit clearer. There was never any question of McCulloch believing that he was buying Tower Bridge, and it is rude to imply this. Ivan Luckin denied this [1] as he was a serious person and could not have sold the bridge on a false prospectus. McCulloch was not stupid either. It just makes a good story to say that McCulloch believed that he was buying Tower Bridge.--♦IanMacM♦ ^{(talk to me)} 21:28, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
