Will make a start on this soon JAGUAR  22:14, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Baggio shattered both the anterior cruciate ligament and the meniscus of his right knee against Rimini on 5 May 1985" - try Baggio shattered both the anterior cruciate ligament and the meniscus of his right knee whilst playing against Rimini on 5 May 1985
  • "he also placed eighth in the 1990 Ballon d'Or. With Fiorentina, Baggio scored 55 goals in 136 appearances, 39 of which were in Serie A, in 94 appearances." - this needs a citation
  • "he was also awarded the Onze d'Or, and the World Soccer Player of the Year Award." - this needs a citation too
  • "Baggio placed second in the 1994 Ballon d'Or, third in the 1994 FIFA World Player of the Year, and was awarded the 1994 Onze de Bronze" - unsourced
  • The latter half of the last paragraph in the 1995–1997: Milan section is unsourced
  • "This proved to be an unfortunate move, as, after injuries, disappointing results" - unnecessary comma after "as"
  • Too many paragraphs start with "Baggio" in the 1994 FIFA World Cup section, try mixing it up
  • Too many short and stubby paragraphs in the After retirement; it would easy to merge some. Also, the last paragraph ("On 8 October 2008 Baggio appeared in a charity match between Milan and Fiorentina") doesn't appear to be in chronological order?
  • Too many quote boxes in the Style of play section - deleting one would would unbreak the formatting
  • Once again, some paragraphs can be merged in the In popular culture section to create better flow of the prose
  • Ref 17 and ref 18 are dead
  • Ref 39, ref 62, ref 84, ref 95, ref 127, ref 121, and ref 130 are all dead
  • No DAB links

This is a great article! The prose was excellent so I couldn't find many issues with that. There are a few unsourced claims and some linkrot that needs to be fixed, but other than that this is generally very solid and well written. On hold until all are clarified JAGUAR  12:11, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Jaguar: Thanks for the review! I think I've fixed most of your concerns. If you could, take another look at the style of play section, as I think I've found a way to keep the format of the section decent without deleting a quote box (hard to choose), what do you think? Also with regards to the dead links, what do you suggest we do? Some dead links are sourced for a sentence among other working ones...would it be okay to just remove the dead ones? I was reading WP:LINKROT and played around with the first dead link and couldn't find anything in the Wayback machine. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:11, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If they can't be archived through the Wayback Machine then it should be safe to remove them from the article as from what I've seen they don't seem to be essential. The solid writing and comprehensive sourcing elsewhere makes up for it. JAGUAR  20:32, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Jaguar: Thanks, all issues addressed. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 03:24, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Without further ado I'll promote this as it meets the criteria. Good work! JAGUAR  16:49, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
