Notable members in infobox[edit]

@CanadianHistorian(MMA & History): You should try and make sure that the names your adding to the infobox are actually individiuals being discussed somewhere in the article; otherwise, the list could be mistaken as a form of WP:Namechecking. Generally, "notable person" lists in Wikipedia articles are considered to be individuals who already have Wikipedia articles written about them; in other words, individuals considered to be Wikipedia notable. Moreover, the content in an infobox is really intended to be a brief summary of the main points of an article, and not really the only place where something is mentioned as explained in MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE. Perhaps, you're planning on adding information about these persons to the article at some time and that's OK, but it might be better to wait until that is done before adding their names to the infobox. The same thing also applies to the club's "Territories", "Activities" and "Allies" and "Rivals" as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:32, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Got to read the whole thing man a lot of these guys are mentioned in there almost all of them because they committed crimes for the Rock Machine even if their names aren't directly mentioned some people as I did borrow information from The Rock Machine page when I moved it here that was not mine. choose to edit their posts and not reveal the names of those arrested I don't know if that's because people get intimidating by revealing someone's identity. Either way I'm pretty sure only a couple persons above is not mentioned like for instance Mario Dube and Marc Gagion ran a chapter in Quebec the post about 3 ppl being arrested in 2016 was them.. but their names were not admitted. Same with Joseph Strachan, he was one of the 11 arrested in 2013 during raids in Manitoba If you do a control f you can find where these people are mentioned in the article most of them at least, see what I can do about making sure that things are mentioned as for the clubs most all incidents involve their names and can be found belowCanadianHistorian(MMA & History) (talk) 18:10, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Rock Machine MC criminal allegations and incidents's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "BikerWars":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 12:36, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
