North-east of Rockhampton?[edit]

Just a minor point that the lead states the the proposed highway will connect from Fairy Bower to Parkhurst on the Bruce Highway "to the north-east of Rockhampton". Suggested new section about sudden delay[edit]

I would suggest a new section to cover the unexpected announcement from the Federal Government upon handing down the Federal Budget in late 2022 just prior to construction starting on the project that it would be delayed due to it being overbudget, which caused anger from local council, industry, businesses etc, and prompted the formation of a lobby group called "Start Rockhampton Ring Road" with the issue also covered extensively in local media. 2001:8003:6C31:E800:4D66:FF2A:C372:F1D9 (talk) 10:51, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
