Shouldn't the dab be simply Rockland, Victoria[edit]

Why does this have to have "Greater Victoria" as its dab; it's only in the City of Victoria, and doesn't span the boundary of other municipalities. so shouldn't it be more specific? Might as well check the same for James Bay - James Bay, Victoria or James Bay, Greater Victoria? Wonder which is the redlink....Skookum1 (talk) 19:22, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, y'see, there are specific guidelines for Canadian city-neighbourhoods; only when somewhere e.g. Sardis, Aldergrove, Ruskin has long had a separate identity (and pref. postal address) from the municipality it's located in is an exception made (or as in Ruskin's case, it's bisected by a municipal boundary) is the comma-province designation to be used. James Bay has always been part of Victoria, even before the colony (of VI) was founded (in 1849) (it was James Douglas' personal estate, hence the name).Skookum1 (talk) 00:50, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
