On Father Rod Bower from the Gosford Anglican Church[edit]

Bower participates in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in his clerical robes. The report REV. ROD BOWER: “I DON’T BELIEVE IN HEAVEN OR HELL…” concludes:

Yet another example of an ordained Anglican minister denying basic Christian belief.
Every week Rev. Bower will be leading those in his care in the words of the Nicene or Apostles’ Creed, speaking of heaven and hell, and yet he tells us he doesn’t believe a word of it. All the while taking a stipend.

Please be courteous and respectful, I’m sure it will not be easy for him to receive a number of complaints about Rev. Bower. It might also be helpful to post a copy of your email in the comments below.
Friends nothing will happen to improve the Anglican Church that we love so much unless we take a principled stand on matters like this. Our bishops are also called to defend the faith and drive away erroneous teaching. I’m sure Bishop Thompson will do what’s right but we need to make sure he understands the gravity of the situation. You know what to do.

No doubt this means he is fully aware not just of the situation but of the large level of concern about it.
