Themes in Romanian Hip Hop[edit]

While political themes are dominant, I have also been able to pick up on a backlash against tourism in Romanian hip hop. In a country that is actively seeking the tourist dollar, it is natural that the youth culture would give criticism to the marketification of its history and culture. Romania currently holds the lands from where the Vampire legends come, and some very tasteless attempts have been made to market that fact to tourists. Thankfully it's not the norm, but it can be quite offensive to Romanians. My Romanian isn't perfect, but I can understand enough to know when someone is saying "Tourists go home" or some such phrase in a hip hop song. QuickieWiki 01:01, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Morometzii's support to Basescu's campaign[edit]

1. Needs citation

2. If I recall events well, 1Q Sapro from Morometzii threatened to sue the PD-L party for illicit use of their song 'Romania Trezeste-te' due to copyright infringement.

If someone could clarify events and bring citations, that would be fab... Alzwded (talk) 18:37, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Narrow information[edit]

I am not quite familiar with Wikipedia and I don't know where to find References, but I still want to contribute to this article, because the history told by it is limited to the late '90s and nothing is said about other rappers or hip-hop groups (Specii, CTC, Subcarpati, Haarp Coord etc.). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moliosul0.5 (talkcontribs) 20:34, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
