Untitled comment from August 2014[edit]

Rose Hall of Fame → important cultivar (though probably not that important for botanists ;->). --Anna reg (talk) 21:10, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Changes[edit]

  • Specific text to be added or removed: Change Rosa 'Ingrid Bergman' to Ingrid Bergman® Poulman and continuously address the variety rose as Ingrid Bergman® Poulman, not 'Ingrid Bergman'
  • Reason for the change: It is essential that the trademarks for these varieties be specifically identified, as otherwise they may be interpreted as generic variety denominations or otherwise deemed non-proprietary terms. Plant breeders must police the identification of their varieties on resources like this one to protect their valuable intellectual property rights.
  • References supporting change: https://www.poulsenroser.dk/en/roses/ShowProduct/1
  • Specific text to be added or removed: Remove (syn. 'POUlman')
  • Reason for the change: Poulman is not a synonym of Ingrid Bergman. Rather, it is the variety denomination of Ingrid Bergman.

Partly done: Qksss, we generally don't include trademarks in articles, per Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Trademarks. Implemented second request. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 20:02, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
