Sorry my english ^^ I'm spanish boy. I think the writer used the "google translator" you know? It's possible. This article needs to change and need more information. I hope someone can help! Man/Woman[edit]

Cleanups[edit]

I have done my best to clean this article up. It was clearly written by someone whose first language was not English, so I fixed as much of that as I could. For some reason there was a reference to Rosa competing in the 1976 Eurovision contest, which was clearly impossible. I have added a bit about her involvement in the dance competition this year. I'm going to also replace the rather poor photo with a clearer one from a magazine cover, when time permits. One change I made which needs explaining is I moved this article from Rosa (singer) on the grounds that, while she may be better known regionally as just Rosa, internationally she is better known by her full name, and it is also under her full name that she is currently experiencing notability in the dance competition. 23skidoo 15:32, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New image is awful[edit]

The "free" image that's been added to this article clearly illustrates the stereotype that they are inferior to so-called allegedly "unfree" images. Surely someone can provide a better image, otherwise we might as well take our chances with the album cover because we all know there's an army of lawyers willing to pounce on anyone who dares use an illustration of this artist's work. At the very least, let's find an image that doesn't look like it was shot in a dark room without a flash.23skidoo 14:36, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cleanup[edit]

I've rewritten this as best i can. The language needed a lot of work as did the content. Obviously a Rosa fan had written it. This is not a fan-site. Much of the content concerned details of operacion triunfo rather than Rosa. --Brideshead (talk) 20:06, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@El hobbit Guisen: A translation of content from the Spanish Wikipedia onto this English version needs to be done without the use of translation tools such as Google Translator; as it produces errors in spelling, grammar, and incoherence in the context. This was evident in the fact the section headers did not comply with manual of style guidelines. Also there are other factors to be taken when translating content from one Wiki to another, such as attribution of the content to its original editor - in this case the people who worked on the Spanish article; and other steps are to be taken such as adding a template onto this talk page to show the article has been translated and where it was translated from. All of this information is noted in the template at the top of the article page which states:

View a machine-translated version of the Spanish article.
Google's machine translation is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia.
Do not translate text that appears unreliable or low-quality. If possible, verify the text with references provided in the foreign-language article.
After translating, {{Translated}} must be added to the talk page to ensure copyright compliance.
